On 3/26 -3/27, Quarry Lane Speech/Debate competed virtually at La Reina HS (Los Angeles, CA). 443 competitors representing 35 schools from 9 states attended. Of this, 20 Quarry Lane students participated in 2 Speech/Debate events, and received the following awards.
High School Public Forum
- Dhruv Kannan (10th) & Kevin Zhan (9th) - 2nd place out of 5 entries (top 40%).
Middle School Public Forum
- Sarah Chen (7th) & Emma Ping (7th) - 3rd (T) place out of 22 entries (top 14%).
High/Middle School Public Forum
- Emma Ping (7th) - 7th speaker out of 53 entries (top 13%).
