On 11/20 - 11/22, Quarry Lane Speech/Debate competed virtually at Glenbrooks HS (Chicago, IL). 1862 competitors representing 247 schools from 34 states attended. Of this, 8 Quarry Lane students participated in 3 Speech/Debate events, and received the following awards.
Varsity Congress
- Akaash Babu (12th) - 10th place out of 214 entries (top 5%). With this, Akaash received their 1st bid in Congress to the University of Kentucky's Tournament of Champions!
- Audrey Kamena (11th) - 51st place out of 214 entries (top 24%). With this, Audrey received their 2nd bid in Congress to the University of Kentucky's Tournament of Champions!
Varsity Public Forum
- Sachi Patel (11th) & Amrit Sharma (11th) - 9th place out of 180 entries (top 5%). With this, Sachi & Amrit received their 2nd bid in Public Forum to the University of Kentucky's Tournament of Champions!
- Sachi Patel (11th) - 13th speaker out of 360 entries (top 4%).
